What exactly is Popjam?

The Internet is full of funny things. PopJam is the place to share the ones that make you laugh the hardest. Share them with your friends, share them with your enemies or even share them with total strangers. Because remember: to share is to care.

Yes. Comedy communists.

Ok, so how does PopJam work?

PopJam is so easy to use, even a butt-sniffing monkey could do it. Whenever you find something online that makes you laugh out loud, simply visit PopJam and post it to your profile. Your friends will be able to see what you've shared and vote on whether it makes them laugh as well (this is our ground-breaking 'LOL' feature).

I have a brilliant sense of humour and everything I share will be hilarious. How will this undeniable fact be publicly acknowledged?

Much like in martial arts, PopJam uses a system of coloured belts to demonstrate your current comedy killing power. As a PopJam n00b, you'll begin as a white belt but the more stuff you share, and the more people who find it funny, the higher you'll rise through the technicolour ranks.

What's the highest belt I can get?

That would be the ninja black belt. The martial arts reference is almost entirely lost on you isn't it? The belt order on PopJam is white, yellow, orange, green, purple, blue, red, brown, black and finally ninja. After you become a PopJam Ninja your self-esteem will (approximately) double and you will be elevated above almost everyone else on the Internet.

But doesn't standing out from the crowd defeat the object of being a ninja?

Shhhhh.

Yes! Extra points can be earned by inviting new people to join PopJam, and generally being awesome. For instance, getting the PopJam logo tattooed on your ass automatically elevates you to brown belt. Uploading the photos to PopJam makes you an instant ninja.

So, who is behind PopJam?

PopJam is the brainchild of Alex Tew, founder of The Million Dollar Homepage, and rocket-scientist tech genius, Mike Halls-Moore. Alex hopes that PopJam will finally stop people shouting jokes about pixels and money at him in the street. It probably won't.

Hmmm. These FAQs are all well and good but I spend all of my days browsing comedy sites on the web and have seriously damaged my brain. Is there a version of these FAQs written in LOLSpeak?
